Moving to Ponggol. Help needed?????

Guys ,

I am about to move to Ponggol close to the marina.

A friend advised me not to do so. he claims that there are smokes and fumes coming from the industrial site in malaysia just in front of Ponggol.

Is that right?

I went there a few times and saw nothing.

Good people of Pungol could you please inform me.

I am a bit concerned for my toddler.

my uncle lives there. no fumes or smoke, but terrible lack of amenities.

the fumes? its true.. u din see coz it doesnt happen all the time.. i stay in sengkang.. sometimes at nite.. u can actually see the fire raging into the sky... and of coz.. the smell of burnt stuff too..

well, you can go fishing at Punggol's serene beaches and seaside...
it's pretty nice..

Feel much better already. My friend seemed to be alarmed by this fumes problem. But I see that it is not as bad as he claimed.

I am moving to the 24th avenue in one of the bungalows near the bach. It is a very nice place.

It is true that there are no amenities and you need the car for everything. You must also face the traffic to go to town, but once back home...: What a peace!

I love the greenery.

Oh, if you are staying in 24th Avenue... that is true. But if you stay at those new flats which I have been staying.. the transport is convience.

Is is quite dark over at those old roads. Need a transport thou...

Lucky no prob for us. Got cars to take us around. But traffic is getting worse. I think Mrt is now faster than highway to go to the city centre.

Soon the speed trap will be useless as cannot go faster than 50 km. on the highway !:bsmilie:
