Hi guys...

Missed out on the gathering on Sunday.
My wife dragged me out to Chinese Garden instead.

Just some shots (5 to be exact)...
C&Cs welcome! (I'm still playing around with 2 different pp processes...)

Best results from you so far! =)

Looks like you're getting a hang of it! I quite like #2 and #3, especially #2..

But I'd prefer that you leave out the bottom part of the picture and frame only the pagoda amongst the trees.. That angle looks fine to me. =)

how'd you get the colors to turn out like that?!

Looks like #1, #2 and #4 are one pp workflow and #2 and #5 a different one.

Putting aside composition (I'm never good at it), my preference is the workflow for #2 and #5 as there's a slightly different tones in the pics for the trees and sky. But with a little more contrast to give some depth to the overall scene would look better. Sky colors for these 2 are a bit off though, too much Cyan instead of Blue.

#4 - though overall pic is flat due to the color, the pagoda does have some depth due to the contrast against the whole scene.

You could continue trying different workflowd to vary your results to see which works.

Awesome pictures! I think i need to start learning this IR thinkg really soon. ;)

I see what you mean... #2 and #5 are done with layers... have problems with the colours... will see how I can get more blue and less cyan... not good with PS...

#1 & #4 r good to me. This tone looks ok with these 2 shots. Nice compo too.
