This is the infamous traditional cantonese dish that's a rare find these days.
Anyone heard of this dish and know where it can now be found?
It's one of my all-time fave and have this sudden craving for it. Last time I tasted LKY was wayyyy back in my early teens.

Warning: LKY (no pun intended ;p ) is a deliciously poisonous, artery clogging dish......
Ingredients include chicken parts (usually wings), pig skin innards, etc...

Anyone for LKY?

Was just checking out for LKY last week.
Couldn't find one stall selling this at the People's Park Food Centre.
I think this is another case of "got money cannot buy" - Keep searching.

ya...i heard there was one at People's Park but no longer there....:dunno: :(

Is this the one with the reddish gravy?

yessssssss!

Bukit Timah Plaza, basement.

Same row of shops as the pet shop, next to the alleyway to the toilets.

Not sure if it's the one, but it also had chicken meat.

Ahaha.. thats a nice dish to have on a cold rainy day. Good luck on your search. :)

Do keep us posted. ;)

Seems there's a Loh Kai Yik stall somewhere in the Katong/Joo Chiat area. When my dad was alive, he used to tell me about it. He says doesn't taste as good as back in the 50s & 60s. If you can grab a copy of Sylvia Tan's 'Singapore Heritage Food', there's a brief description and recipe in there I believe. Let me know if you want more details on the book!

Good food hunting!
