i know that the apple shop does trade-ins but the rate is really low
anyone knows where i can trade in my ibook for a macbookpro at a better rate?

my friend suggested selling my ibook online and then purchase a macbookpro but i think its kinda hard to find a buyer, so i'll stick to the trade-in thing i geuss.

let me know if there's good "lobangs" okay!

thanks!

Trade in pricing wont get u anywhere
I will suggest u try ur best selling it online, use the money to offset MBP

If u insist on trade in, u can go Epicentre Orchard or iShop. Pacific City @ IMM does trade in also..but i dunno if their offers ended....

what are the specs of your iBook?

most of the G4 iBooks can fetch at least twice higher than what the trade-in is offering you.

you can try posting over at hardwarezone.com marketplace/classifieds forum as well

Apple have just released NEW MacBooks =) (no new mbp yet tho)

my keyboard's in a bad shape.. the letters I and K are not working. (i'm typing this using an external keyboard plugged into the usb :X)
so yeah, buyers will use this to slash the price so i think its really pointless to put it up for sale :S
and i've got no confidence in selling such stuff either..

anyway its ibook g4, upgraded to 1gb memory
size.. the larger one.. 14" if i'm not wrong?

the iBook G4 keyboard is actually replaceable~ but not sure about the costs now since it's already discontinued.

still, i feel $400 is too low. 1GB memory is not too shabby either. if i'm a buyer, $600 and above would seem reasonable, but that's just me.

all the best to ur sales...and get a MacBook!!

anyone here knows how much is a 2 yr old G5 system worth ... with the 17" monitor?.....
