Bed ok
Hi, i'm a newbie here. I was told that Photoshop CS2 can create the same effect as IR filter. Is it true? If yes, can anyone please enlighten me on how to go about it? Been trying but all fail. Thanks!

Actually, that's not entirely true.
You can simulate IR effects but can't have the real thing.

You might create something that RESEMBLES IR, but that's about it.

Do a google, pretty easy to find the steps. Anyways it's quite improbable that even if you PS the IR effect out.. You can get IR in colour.. Most tutorials I've seen show B&W..

Why not just use a filter? =)

Okie okie, i really thought i can have the real thing by using CS.:bsmilie: Hmmm... think i'll just get the filter then. Thanks.

Hope this is not too profane to post...

in IR, the leaves should be white...

Ya I know... but got no time to go into another 3-4 layers + now my monitor sucks... if you can help to complete the IR mimicky...
time constrained over here as well, which is why:

it's like polarizing filters... sometimes its easier to just shoot it that way instead of painstakingly creating it :)

a few bucks less the pain... but just know it can somehow be done.... that is if you got the patience and time to figure this thing out.... :bsmilie:
