this is ir photography, it is quite different from normal photography in some ways

first thing is that you will need a tripod unless you go and modify your cam, you will need a ir filter, hopefully your filter size not too large, or quite expensive if you watn to get hoya r72.. and you must be prepared to go to some trouble, i.e. compose scene, previsualise it, lock on tripod, then screw on filter and shoot (for dslr anyways)..

but one thing i do feel, though i may be wrong, it helps you understand a lot of photographic concepts, and helps you better visualise how a scene turns out, ir or not.. because what the camera sees is different from what the eye sees.. and when you do ir photography, the camera really sees very differently :)

as to how to do it, you may want to read this thread here, if have any queries, just post up a thread, the members in this section have always been very friendly and welcoming and helpful. :)

#3 and #6 are very nice... like the feel of #3... nice colors...
