whenver i open up cs webpage, and i receive pm,i have a annoying beep sound coming from my cpu.(not speakers).

how do i turn that off please?

set yr PC speaker to MUTE.

also, how come it wasnt there initially?only when i boot up today then there's this sound?

control panel > system > hardware tab > device manager > view tab > show hidden devices > non-plug and play drivers > beep > do not use this device (disable)

Restart if needed.

This has nothing to do with PC speakers. It's a diagnostic single tone speaker on the motherboard.

Nope. If the critical components are lose, you don't boot up at all. If things like the CPU cooler are lose, your computer will overheat and shut down (preventive measure, so you don't fry the CPU. it's a safety circuit built into modern CPUs).
