Hi fellow CSers, I saw this old house next to the old BP tower (now converted to UOB building) along Alexandra Road. It has been fenced up and locked and partitioned but it's not marked on the streetdirectory.

Anyone explored this house b4? I think it's going to be torn down soon cuz there're lorries and construction equipment near the compounds with the plaque "Proposed blablabla of a blalblabla"

If you take any bus that goes past HP and PSA building, it's immediately after some foilage behind the old BP tower. Further down is a junction that leads into Royal Road. Spotted it en route to work last week

Do you mean this building? Compared the large spacious black & white bungalows, this seems to be a small 2-storey house linked to a separate 1-storey "barn" / kitchen at the rear.

Yes, there is some piling / renovation works around that area but there does not appear to be any construction or renovation works within its compound.

*picture removed due to storage space contraints*

yeah seems to be it! so it's "free entry"?

ermmm...i dun think so. Its private property technically speaking.

Anyway, even if you want to sneak in, you need to overcome all the thick bushes/grass around it first.

Anymore details on e location? Thanks

I did not notice any thick bushes / shrubs blocking the access to the property. But, as highlighted, please be aware of consequences of illegal tresspassing on private property.

what's the consequence? is it state land or private property now?

I did a quick search on definition and consequences of trespassing.

See Penal Code (Chapter 224), (Title) Criminal Trespass, Section 441 to 462.

Punishment starts from a minimum of 3 months imprisonment, fine of $500 or both.
Be warned.

haha so u did close-in tactically or what?

hazmee, venom81, the place is here. hope you can access the link. basically, just further up the Alexandra UOB building. there is a some vegetation and immediately after that. it is enclosed by metal sheet walls used for construction.

bus 166, 97, 51, 100 pass that stretch. can't recall other buses. alight at hp and walk.

Thanks buddy! I always take bus 97 to go home. Hehe.

try not to enter private property... should a crime occured on the same day and u were seen by someone also at the scene.. u will be in trouble.

let's ask how ckuan did the "close-in".
ckuan, did u do stand-off prior to the shoot?

What's standoff?

Well, you can do a close up shot of the front of the property if you illegally enter the premises thru the main gate.

However, I do not advocate such an activity in view of the legal implications.
