How many of you out there owns and drives commercial vans like Kangoo, Berlingo, Caddy. Are these vehicles easy to handle and service?

you must be joking right, these are simply easy to drive and service.

Do you own one and service it? How many out there do their own servicing like changing of disc brakes, suspension, timing belts and crank shaft pulleys?

drives like a petrol car, just that it isn't as easy to stall.

servicing is very important to prevent excessive black smoke. If you skimp on cheap lubricants and skip air filter changes, black smoke forms easily. Other than that, it's really no difference from cars.

my vehicle is only 2+ years old.. don't need to change timing and the c/s pulley yet.

I used to service my vehicle with Advanced motor (under warranty) then after warranty serviced at Bt Merah (friend's garage) closed down, now I service with Kok Li at AMK ind park 2. He specialises in vans, so he knows what he's doing.

May I know what is your mileage on your vehicle? You have never replaced your timing belt? Next time you service your timing belt, can I have the worn out belt?

erm.. i will let the mechanic access if it needs to be changed. You can contact me thru PM :D i check CS everyday.

Count, anyone drives and owns a Berlingo Diesel?

huh? berlingo? pay few K more get fiat doblo 1.9L better, with turbo and bigger CC, you have the extra power when you need it...somemore road tax and COE still the same, higher resale value next time.

Surprisingly, the fuel consumption of this 1.9L turbo charged engine is better than NA engine with lower CC (such as berlingo)...i think only the 1.3L version of doblo can beat this 18.5 km/L :D
