.lots of structures, lots of colours, lots of "unique" people (which I dare not take, later kanna hum-tum! ).

I think more care should be taken for each shot to iron out the minute details. Try to cover less but cover well. Take this as a recce session to discover the potential of Chinatown and go back again with a plan. So the next time you go back, you won't be looking for things to shoot, you'd be thinking of how best those subjects can be shot and I guarantee you, the pictures will be even better.
