Anyone has experience owning these?
Which is better?

Korean fridges are larger especially side by side USA style.
Cheaper say about $1000 to $1,800
But are they as good?
Do they last and perform well, or break down 2 years after purchase?

Jap fridges are more costly.
Saw the Mitsubishi W class fridge in Best Denki and it costs >$4,000.

Anyone has ultra long lasting super durable Jap fridge still working well after >10 years?

Please give your comments.
Looking to replace some home equipment.

Sanyo. 12 years. Then it died last year.
A Parisilk salesman told me to knock on the door and sides to hear the sound.
If it's hollowish, then the fridge is not good. If it's nice and solid, then it's good.

Also said that fridges from anywhere in the world are about the same now, because their parts are from all parts of the world.

What the salesperson told u is right! And on top of that, find one that have glass and not plastic slides.
I am using a Samsung brand one for many years and it is still as good as the first day!

I am using a LG fridge for about 4 years now. Still running strong. My last fridge, a Mitsubishi, lasted me only 5 years. Hope this LG can outlast the Mitsubishi.
