care to share on the blowers you use to clean your cams? which is the best one? and where to get?

For me it's the GITTOS Rocket Blower
I got a medium one in my bag and a large one for use at home.
You can get this from CP or MS Color.
I've also tried the "Blue Blower with the metal nozzle" but I found it too stiff and hard to compress for my liking...

that's the AF blower i think from switzerland. maybe their hands are bigger and stronger.
i've use a few, from the lousy one to the big ones. i recommend UN jumbo hurricane blower, light, easy to press, not too big to bring around, and relatively strong.
I really like this blower. It's been with me since the day I bought my very first SLR. Still working perfectly till now & years to come.

Me too bro. Very good quality rubber. Even the one attached to the metal tip area. Really built to last.
i have a 2hp air compressor used to drive nails in wooden frames that i make for my large canvas prints.... but i haven't tried it to blow my sensor. :bsmilie:
if it's the same one as i got, u better be careful. there was once i pressed too hard and the whole metal tip flew out and hit the glass. there's a plastic "condom" around it so i supposed the plastic hit the lens, so the lens was ok, but it still wasn't a good thing to happen.
Make sure you remove the nails first
I use the black one with blue nozzle, works well enough!

I do noticed the metal tip is just fitted tightly into the rubber area. It does come off if you give it a few twist here & there. But, I usually press that metal tip back to the position where it sits nicely to the rubber whenever I saw if it's not at it's original position.
Nothing happens so far (touch wood).
do let us know once you've tried.....hehehehe.
might blow the whole sensor out of the cam....:bsmilie:

Air compressors have oil mist so its not advisable. Even after filter it still have some residue. The best solution if you want a clean and powerful blow is to use N2.

i use art airbrush with compressed air. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
u can buy those compressed air blower that are sold in cans for photographic cleaning purposes. used to use those but the high cost made me switch to art airbrush with compressed air and the machine that churn out the air.
u need to blow the sensor from a distance if u're using compressed air. its very powerful and from the read-me-first on the photographic cleaning compressed air cans, it is ideal to blow from a distance due to residue or something like tat.
