Thanks for viewing.

#2 is the best in my opinion. I like to shoot insects feeding. Nice catch you have there. Sustenance and death are so well depicted in this picture. The dark surroundings gives it a raw and mysterious mood

#3 I like it except for the shadow of a 'T' on the branch.

#4 looks like the face of a mad witch doctor ;)

wow.. u mean u really shoot this at nite? how u manage tat? really nice series man!

amazing stuff, do you have to use a torchlight to hunt for the bugs?

#2 is interesting! How does it catch insects!

We took some calculated risk. they are sleeping actually so as long as we do not touch it it will be alright. (I assume )

My respect to Steve, the night macro sifu. Learnt a lot from him.

Thank you tchuanye.

#2 Haha here it goes, this flying termite was following me and bugging me for a while, when I found the Scorpion on a leaf at my chest level and started shooting, suddenly this flying termite landed right in front of the scorpion, zip comes the claw and the sting, good if this was capture on movie, guess was the lights from the torchlight and the reflection of the leafs the attracted the flying termite, like those raining night in our house many flying termite were seen flying around the light bulbs, guess I bring the scorpion food.
After a while it started to bring its food down to the undergrowth, had a few encounters with the scorpion during the night macro recently, I notice that scorpion waited for prey at a high level in the open during the night. ;)

#3 This is a Centipede.
This guy was about 4” and had very long legs, saw few of them, last week saw the first one that was a huge bugger around 6”managed to get one shots but lousy, Wow wow wow!!! Its movement lightning fast, very scary man. ;)
