Anyone can share what is the setting for indoor shots? My pic turn out to be dull, flat with no contrast with aperture F3.5 and 1/60 without flash. Hope to take pic which is well exposed with nicely exposed background.

Thanks

Just taken few more pics without flash, with iso set to 800 and 1600, F3.5 at 18mm. There's still camera shake as trying to take picture of baby...moving here and there. Is flash needed for taking this kind of pics??

I saw pics you guys took are very sharp at the foreground and nicely exposed background with bokeh. How do you take such pictures that preserve the background ambience while on the other hand sharp at foreground?? Able to achieve that with internal flash? Or is it a must for external flash??
