Hi all,

Any good books to recommend for the above topic?? Do advise and also can share why you recommend it.

Thanks in advance!

During the days of film,

it has to be Understanding Exposure - by Bryan Peterson.

Why I recommend it??? -- Because nothing else comes close.

I have the first edition :)

Now in the digital era (what with the help of the histogram), it's still a good read because nothing beats nailing the exposure right off the cam.

Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographs with a Film or Digital Camera
by Bryan Peterson

This is probably the most definitive book on Exposure and contains all the basic and important concepts of photography that any serious amateur photographer would need. I have it myself and I've bought as gifts to friends. They treasure it as much as I do.
