Hi

I was wondering if there was ever and camera made for Left handed people, since all or at least most the cameras on the market are designed for "Righties".. Does anyone know of a camera that's designed for Lefties?

I am a southpaw and have been a camera user for more than 30 years. I find that the current layout with the shutter button on the right hand actually a left handed design as my left hand is used on the focusing barrel and supporting the weight of the camera. Imagine a right handed person doing it.;)

But in saying that, I don"t think there is a left handed way to use a camera, just the same as driving a car. There are no such things as a left handed car.

I think he looking for a camera with the shutter release button on the left. Maybe he can DIY a LH grip even.

Actually, some camera designs caused more problems for ppl with left master eye and left-handed ppl.

Another south paw and left master eye here. The only problem I face so far is my nose keep pressing onto the LCD make it oily. Other than this, dun really have any issue with the camera layout

"no such thing" is a strong sweeping statement
i have seen left hand cars in Singapore with a warning sticker at the back of the car stating that too....:)

Left Hand drive and left handed are two different things. The pedals are still the same layout, the hand controls are still the same layout, well except for the gearshift in a left hand drive car.
