The 510 looks really good with the built in IS. Looks like a good one to upgrade to.

Today is the day they are going to announce the new cams officially. Their website is not yet updated. I believe they are based either on UK timing or US timing.

The E-510 looks very promising with the built-in image stabilizer. I wonder where they get their sensors from. Hopefully can perform up to standard.

Yeah. For once, hopefully they match or beat Canon at the high ISO game..? *fingers crossed*
The in-body Image Stabiliser should make things a bit bearable in low-light handheld shooting situations without having to ramp up the ISO.

Anyhow, for the Live View, it's somewhat crippled without a movable (tilt/swivel) LCD.

Apparently, the new E-3(?) will have a swivel LCD.

Ya!! Think you are right! Take a look at this thread!;p

hi all,

e510 - 460g without battery and lens
e400 - 380g without battery and lens
550uz - 365g without battery
e410 - 435g without battery and lens
e500 - 479g with battery
mju 800 - 211g with battery
e330 - 617g with battery

i am giddy now ...maybe info above may be wrong . maybe correct

from the pics of the 'e3',
seems there is still the 3 focus point and no IS.

The P-1(E-1 Successor) is finally out, along with 3 new lenses with SWD (Supersonic Wave Drive) focussing. It seems Olympus is slow catching up its rivals. Its going to be a good fight.

The 14-35mm f/2.0 SWD is definately a winner and becoming a legend in the Olympus arsenal.

However, i find the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWM a bit redundant as i think the sigma 80-200 f/2.8 HSM will be cheaper with f/2.8 constant. Well, maybe people may find it appealing due to superb lens construction.

? I think the 50mm f2.8 in the 50-200 is very impt to a lot of people. 50 vs 80 mm is a lot of difference.

The Sigma is not going to touch the ZD; the ZD is just a class above.

So fast???! I read that E-410 will only hit the shelves on April while the E-510 on June.

Or is it just a case of advance booking with deposit?

well.. tats wut hardwarezone says... so early adopters might wan to go chk it out yeah..
