I just received my AD-060 dry cabinet yesterday (SAt), and i have made sure it was plugged in properly. But i don't see any led lights glowing...

I have set my settings by turning the knob at 8' o clock. I have been waiting for one whole day for the RH% to drop to 40-50%, but all I see is that it fluctuates between 55-60%. Is there a problem here with the electronic dryer unit?

I don't think still can see the light if set it at 8 o'clock. try set it at 9 then.

and don't put anything in yet until you get the level you want.

Just one question....so if i want to reduce humidity, i turn the knob anti-clockwise? If i want to allow higher humidity, I turn clockwise? That's what i read from other threads and what i found when i tinker with the knob (i turn the knob to 8 ' o clock and after a few hours, the humidity is now RH 50%)

Contradictorily, the manual, that comes with the cabinet, says that i should turn clockwise for lower humidity, and anti-clockwise for higher humidity in the cabinet? This manual is driving me confused.

both the manual and you are correct...
clockwise = lower humidity, reduce humidity... same same
anti-clockwise = higher humidity, increase humidity...

you have the answer liao.

huh??? i am more confused by your statement now....

so, if turning clockwise is to reduce humidity, then why in all the threads here are telling to turn it at 8pm?? to get to 8pm position, it has to be anti clockwise....

if based on your statement, anti clockwise is to increase humudity, then i am really really really confused, care to enlighten??

so in summary, so long as the digital indicator shows anything between 45-55% RH is ok, is it??

hi, saw your signature:

<<Moses from Pixel N Shutter (Sim Lim Square) you cheated me $500 dollars! >>

At 8+- position should get you around 45-55%. And if want to increase above 55% then turn anti clockwise to below 8 o'clock and to go below 45% turn clockwise.

i see........thanks for the heads up

K k ...makes sense now. Cuz the rate of removing moisture is soo slow....that i opened the door too often on the first day to tinker with the dial..that it affected the moisture content. Thanks!

that because your current humidity is too low... turning anti-clockwise (to 8oclock) will increase the humidity making your % to increase from let say 30% to 50%...
