yes. ure right adding black border doesn't make the attention go to the two guys.
so, burning the edges is still a better choice. if not. u can do both. and compare between the two of them.

i didn't say that vignetting and adding a border are the same thing.
in my personal and humble opinion, i feel that burning the edges of the border is better because the edges of your picture is like white. And adding a border simple does not achieve the same effect.
'burning' is just a term we use when we process black and white photos in the darkroom.
and since you have posted a black and white photo, i assume that you will understand what i meant by burning.

However, this is just my 2cents. Since you've ask for 'C&C'.
