not sure, but can't seems to find link for the v1.0 download... only the previous beta4, which I heard have a few missing features in v1.0.They have a trial version available for download. You might want to give it a try before buying. So far I like the software. Most probably will buy it when the trial period finishes.

ic, thanks for the link. heard v1.0 have U-point technology that is in Capture NX, and i love that feature .http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom&loc=en_us
i've tried the beta and v1.0... but can't seem to get my hands ard the interface. too clunky and cluttered for my tastes. however, it does look good for windoze people who need to organise lots of photos. i think for mac users, aperture seems better organised and user-friendly, IMO.

installed, but don think i saw that feature :S

haha im not sure myself... but I heard it from someone else... and saw a link talking about it...there is? i only saw the cloning and healing features, mentioned by weekh, on top of the standard curves and levels adjustments. the 'new' thing perhaps i saw was the loupe - a port fm aperture but not as powerful.
need to go dig ard some more b4 the trial expires...
Lightroom Turns On
February 18th is the target date for Adobe Lightroom 1.0 shipments, with US$199 being the introductory price (US$299 after April 1st). A new version of Camera Raw (ACR 3.7) will appear on that date, as well. Lightroom public beta uses will find their versions are no longer valid after 2/28/2007, so will have to make the decision whether to purchase or abandon.
One interesting bit in the release version: it has Capture NX like "control points" (called Targeted Adjustment Tool in Lightroom) that weren't in any of the public betas (a few other new features have popped up, as well).
Who has bought the software?
Someone has planned for a mass order but the thread has disappeared...
The feature in LR1 is not like U-point of NX, sorry to disappoint.....ic, thanks for the link. heard v1.0 have U-point technology that is in Capture NX, and i love that feature .
