Think it is real. Even though it say 10 million but on the average about 10 people will strike. So each will get about 1 million. Sometime, on normal days, only 1 person strike and he/she will get 1 million plus to 2 million, which is even better.

But I think it strike many times Toto. Perhaps the computer is in sync with the computer that draws the number.

If my memory dun fail me, every year, this $10m draw ended up with group of people sharing the prize money. I don't recall anyone winning a lump sum.

hehe do your math.... the more people buying the more unlikely just one person will win the whole lump sum as too many repeatative set of numbers. You can see this happen in the normal course of the "usual" half million dollar TOTO sessions. As the amount is "too small" to motivate people to throw more hard earned money at it, you get a much higher odd of winning the entire amount yourself. That is why when they promote such Big Winnings like this Ten Million bonus draw, this tempts a much higher then usual number of people playing and people who are already playing tend to push it further and bet more. The odd of you winning TOTO is about 8 million to one chance. But when you buy more, your chances increases..thus if you have say 2 million people in Singapore each buying say 5 dollars. That is 10 chances each person times 2 million. but if you spent anytime just watching the people buying TOTO during the CNY bonus draw....exceeding more then $50 is not unsual. I myself normally just buy a buck or more per week but for the CNY I would buy about $40 which to me is already quite a bit but I witness countless others including colleaques throwing in more then a hundred or more. With that many bets taking place...is it really that hard to figure out that there will be numreous winners. The sad or best part about it, guess who will definitely make the biggest winning pot of them all in this promotion? The organisers. You wonder how much they would have collected just on this one draw alone.
