There're many threads discussing this. To summarise, there're brands such as Benro and Slik. The more expensive ones are Manfrotto and Gitzo. Price range can be as low as below $50 to as high as a few thousands.

Which to choose depends on your budget, equipment and weight.

buy one good one, buy once. GITZO

for serious hobby, manfrotto, slik

all others, dun bother

Well, from what I gather, whatever tripod you want to get would depend on your needs and budget.

Budget wise there's nothing much to think about, if you have $, then have $. No $, then no $, get cheaper brand.

Other factors to consider;

1) Shooting conditions, what sort of stability you need. This also depends on the type of equipment you have. The total weight, etc.
2) Weight - like one site I browsed when looking through what tripod to buy said; if you ain't going to carry a heavy tripod, get a light one. It may not be as stable, but using your tripod because it's light beats leaving it at home because it's heavy.
3) The type of head, usually majority would use ball head. There's another type called pan-tilt head, which is not quite as flexible. I prefer the latter because the type of shooting I do does not require the flexibility and speed of adjustment with regards to ball head. This is purely personal preference.

Perhaps if you require more help, state your requirements for the 3 small things above, along with your budget and the people here will be more than willing to help you out. =)

less than $200 055pro by manfrotto for someone serious

less than $400 2220 explorer gitzo for someone who needs more angles

if you are rich, then try the CF versions:)

This is not the first time I see such nonsensical posts from you.

To me, it seems like your general vocabulary centres around 3 words:

tell , me , peace

If you're out to make jokes,

1) It's not funny
2) It's please, not peace, btw
3) Stop, please

tell me peace why others dun boyher

longest history i think is gitzo

best value for money and huge sales goes to manfrotto

longest history in japan is slik.......

i will only get gitzo or manfrotto.... personal preference:)

sorry

i mean to tell me please, not peace
