2kg are like an average weight...u can always buy lighter ones...but the prices are sky high...

The specs says that this tripod is 2kg.... Isn't that heavy??? I feel that my 190DB is already heacy at 1.6x kg..... Any comments?? Hehe, tempted to get one due to he height..

ya, but for 0.4kg more, it's max load is higher. Since my gear is heavy, I rather have a more stable set of legs. Besides, I'm using a double sling tripod bag to carry it ard and it takes the load off.
