Hi guys, i'm getting a 580ex soon and so i'm looking for a diffuser/reflector to go with it. I've heard good reviews of the lightsphere but i've also seen the bad side of it, bulky n expensive.
I'm considering getting the flip it pro as it seems to be the most useful.

I will mainly use my flash in concert halls, outdoor (evening, night), function rooms with high cellings.

Please advice. Thanks a million!

Heard that can buy from ART FRIEND or CREATIVE HANDS

OT: any idea on where to get that kind of paper foam material that they featured in http://abetterbouncecard.com/ locally? . . . thanks in advanced :)

i made my own based on the website instructions. material wise, i bought from Art Friend in Bras Basah Complex. I think it cost $1 a piece.

Think i am going to get those foam paper as well.
At least i save on the Flip-It Jumbo which i was eyeing on. :p

Thanks for the advice guys. Just wondering, how effective is the abetterbouncecard compared to the rest of the device? I mean, if it works so well, won't those ppl who sell the other devices go out of job?

No, because a lot of people don't realize how easy it is to make your own...

each device has pros and cons, you must understand which device suit what situations best.

beside, if you charge $$$$$ for your services, would you want to let your clients see you are using homemade LS from a milk container?

No, they won't go out of jobs. There will always be people with $$ willing to spend $$ thinking their photography skills will improve because they bought a more expensive device.

When i'm charging $$$$$, and my clients are hiring me, they would have already known what I can produce, that I'm produce photographs worth $$$$$. I'll turn up with whatever equipment that allows me to take good pictures. Clients WILL leave a $$$$$ photographer alone. The simple fact is the clients cannot produce $$$$$ photographs and hired someone to do it. :bsmilie:

On a side note, if apparences matter, if I'm paid $$$$$, i wouldn't turn up with a LS at all. I'd have to act like a $$$$$ photographer, not a hobbyist. :bsmilie:
but that's just me.
