Did a car shoot again today, just to share some of the results.
C&C very much welcome. I know its the same location as the Elise, but it's due to circumstances.

I feel that the distortion does'nt quite flatter the car. especially in pics 3 and 5.

Pingo, Noted. It's really hard to note such things at the time of shooting since I'm danging outside the car :bsmilie: Really have to train my eyes.

rickygck, it's shot from the car itself. Managed to mount a rather short arm from the boot.

Nice shots .... i find it very hard to shoot the interior of the car due to reflection ..... what is the best time to shoot the interior and exterior of the car and how to shoot without much reflection?...
i used to own the first gen of the rx7.

These interior shots are done at about 6pm with cloudy skies. Think that should help keep a rein on the reflections. I normally do shoots either early in the morning (hard to wake up though) or during the evening.

Probably best to control fish-eye distortion when shooting ultra wide angles by not using the edges so much, and cropping it in post-process later on. Perspective can destroy the profile and outline of the car as the designer intended it.

Yup I know that, just haven't got the habit to crop my pics yet. I always frame it as I see it. High time to go FF :lovegrin:
