I have a FX50. How do I set it so that the date appear automatically on the photos I take?

I used to have a dimage and it's can be set easily. But I'm unable to find the datestamp option on the fx50.

If I'm not wrong only one of the advance mode has the datestamp option?

How to enable datestamp on the SCN and simple mode?

i not sure for the Fx50 and i used to own FZ7 and FZ50,they both cant stamp the date on the cam but u only can record the date. (there had a record date function, look for manual book)

the way i stamp the date is used the software supply by the lumix CD. when u had Download ur pics to the PC. used the software to stamp the date on ur pic. u can easily found the stamp date option on the menu there...good luck..hope it help u
if i'm not wrong the software is call "Simpleviewer"

Thank you.

There are 3 options related to date. Which one determines my datestamp?

- Clock Set
- World Time
- Travel Date

i'm not a fx user but i'm FZ user. i think this is due to the over extreme light source had overload ur CCD. that's y u can see those distorting vertical line.

for example, u but a magnifying glass on a white paper and try to focus the sun's image on the white paper. the extreme light source will focus and heat up the white paper and last burn out.....i think is the same reason apply. that's y it always not recomanded u to always point to the sun directly and it will burn ur CCD.

the above note, i not sure but just my own opinion...maybe wait some expert to clarify this..

How to set the camera to store each day's photo in a new folder?

Don't think FX50 capable to set timestamp.
I know some brand don't have timestamp, such as Nikon, Kodak, Sony, Samsung, etc...
But not for Panasonic, Fuji not sure why though, but one thing I learn after a while, don't need timestamp or it rather distract your picture, I prefer to manually set the datestamp to a better position
something like this, top right corner. Just my 2cents

not very sure... but one way is to take a complete dark frame at the end of each day, to mark the beginning of each day. and when you have access to computer, just put everything inbetween the each darkframe into different folder.

I don't think any camera can do that.
I know Panasonic will create a new folder for every 999 pictures taken.
But most new camera now allow you to find the picture by date.
I know my panasonic FZ7 and fuji F31 can

actually nikon dSLR is able to do so... but will have to manually create the folder using the menu provided(you can name the folder).
