Hi has anyone purchased camera lens here?

T K Foto Technic, 100 Beach Rd, #02-45 Shaw Towers

comments please..is it okay to buy here as compared to sim lim?

do they good advice on which gear to prefer..not like in SLS?

One of the best around.

Richard or James... either of them would provide you with genuine advice (if needed).

Service is definitely excellent. But price-wise for lens might not be the most competitive. Bought my filters and lowepro bags from them thou!

Well, it really depends on what you need.
Look for James, he might be able to advice you better.

I second that. James saved me from a few reckless purchase. Though I buy mostly resale items these days, when I need brand new, I'll definitely go to TK.

Most of my camera gear are from them, bags, cameras, accessories.....James & Richard are the ones who you can approach.

I always look for Richard and sometimes James.

What Richard always tells me is : "you go back and think first, don't anyhow waste money". Very patient and price is competitive. What's more, if pay by credit card, it is only 2% more, not like others which is 5% or so.

thanks for your replies..but i think their price is quite okay..
i inquired for the canon 28-135mm and the price they gave me is $725, which i find quite cheap as to compared to other shops which ranges from $750-800++ and right now they are the only one who has stock..hehehe;)

what's the easiest route to take going there?

Agree.
If not, the ATM is always around, which is now located outside the shop. ;p

From which direction and via which mode of transport?
MRT - Nearest Station is Bugis. Just take to Bugis and walk over.

T K Foto's great!

Good service/advice; price is reasonable.

My only wish is that they had longer opening hours. ;p

Other than that - Kudos to James and Richard!

TK Foto is really Highly Recommended.
With so many CSers endorsement, it can't be wrong. ;)

BTW, do call them before going down as they might be out for lunch during lunch hour. ;)
