i've always been a canon user
all my past pns cams and slr and dslr all canon.
so i'd prefer to get a canon cam but if there're better options i'd consider!


so recently my pns camera drowned so i gotta get a new one
any suggestions which one i should get?
lookin at the canon ixus 65
wad u think of it?

coz its only for like outings and parties, and mostly in the dark so flash'll be used


oh and i'm wondering, is there any pns cam with video recording function that can take videos at night? like night mode or sth. or only those video cameras have this function?

If you can find one second-hand, get a Sony V1 or V3.
 

Well, if you only want Canon, then the best part camera would be the IXUS 850 IS. Small enough to put inside your pocket without too much of a bulge, picture quality decent enough, IS to help prevent handshake and the 28mm wide angle lens, especially useful inside a small room.

If not you can consider the Fuji F31d for the better high ISO picture quality.

high ISO wont it be grainy... i mean noisy

Needless to say, this is the best low light point and shoot out there. The F31fd uses the same CCD sensor as the F30. But the F31fd has face detection, and Auto ISO I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on the auto ISO function.

TWO sets of batteries went flat lor... Coz people keep wanting to see the picture... And ya, LCD consumes the battery power so fast... :sweat: Nvm, you can grab me... :lovegrin: and fill my CF with all your pic... :bsmilie:
