Golden Travel Services Private Limited, Singa Sino Friendship Association and Raffles City Shopping Centre will be co-organizing the 14th Arts, Culture cum Travel Fair - Spring in the City 2007 from 18th January to 28th February 2007 at the Raffles City Shopping Centre.

Spring in the City 2007 is honorary supported by The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Singapore and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as supported by the Singapore China Business Association, LianHe Zaobao, China Tourism Bureau (Singapore Representative Office) and the Singapore Tourism Board. The fair, similar to previous years, will continue to be filled with exciting and captivating performances, livening up the Chinese New Year festive mood with unforgettable memories.

The highlights of this fair include the exhibition of various historical and scenic tourism spots in China and the showcase of magnificent craftsmanship of more than 50 skilled folk craftsmen and artists. They will be displaying their superb artistry through live demonstrations. In addition, we have also invited the following outstanding cultural performance groups to perform at the fair:-

1) The Minority Folk Dance and Song Troupe. (19/1 – 28/1/2007)
2) Jiangxi Province JingDeZhen All Girls’ Porcelain Musical Instruments Group (30/1 – 04/2/2007)
3) Chengdu YiBo Cultural Arts Troupe (13/2 – 15/2/2007)
4) Inner Mongolia Hothot Folk Dance and Song Troupe (6/2 – 11/2/2007)
5) Arts Troupe Affiliated to Guanzhou University (20/2 – 28/2/2007)

Thus, we would like to cordially invite you to attend the following events :-

-: Launch of our 14th Arts, Culture cum Travel Fair - Spring in the City 2007 at Raffles City Shopping Centre, City Square, on 19th January 2007 (Friday) at 7pm.

-: A Grand Musical Zhaojun Feelings performed by the Inner Mongolia Hothot Folk Dance and Song Troupe on 2/2/07 (Fri) and 4/2/07 (Sun). (Tickets are sold to raise funds for various charitable organizations)

Thanx for highlighting the event, I oso didn't know that u are oso in the event organizing .... :think: Hope that the performance won't be as crampy & crowded as the one in the Chinatown area....

Times to see lots of ladder again, just like last year.
 

The Chinese text says opening on 19/1 is at 5.30pm while the English text says 7pm.:think:
