6x2700mAh AA vs 2xBP-511A in a 5D's BG-E4

6x2700mAh AA vs 2x1390 mAh BP-511A in a 5D's BG-E4, which can last longer? Anyone here tried out?

Using 2 x BP-511A. Don't really like AA due to charging issues. Never had AA batteries lasting more than what I would prefer.

Charging issues? what issues specifically? i was considering the AA since i can bring 1 less charger.

I like fast charging, but this obviously shortens the life.
