Sony T30 help!

I just bought Sony Cybershot T30 recently. Anyone using the same or similar model? I have some questions to ask.

Can I know which mode should I use if I were to take a picture in the day? How do I take pictures without flash?

i dont own tt camera but i think u can juz use the auto mode in DAYLIGHT and definitly take pictures without flash.

u see that lightning icon, select it with the lightning with a cross over in a circle.
