Yes, sorry. It's Wie.

It didn't notice the typo until I see your post. :sweatsm::lovegrin:

I watch golf on SCV only if there is either Tiger Woods or Michelle Wie.

As for Grace Park, I'm not exactly a fan of hers. I'm a loyal supporter of Michelle.

My TV capture from SCV last time :

can comfirm where u get the info on hu is goin??? i kind of can not find leh, then those names i seen in the web look abit:confused:

Anyone know if there is any restriction on photo shooting, like bringing big "phallic symbol" lens, monopod, flash, the entire arsenal etc.

Of course, jockey cap and sunblock highly recommended.

The teams are more or less confirmed. Big names will be people like Grace Park, Annika Sorenstam, Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis... cant recall the rest. Women golf has yet to reach the same level of popularity as the men.

Last year they were pretty relaxed... though some officials were more strict than others. I believe on first day, Friday they will be most relaxed and Sunday most strict regarding camera usage.

Flash is definitely NOT allowed in the golf course. Also, if you take photos remember to follow the basic rules... e.g. take photos only after they have hit the ball unless you are very far away. Players and their caddies complain if your disturb them while they are hitting.

Bring umbrella or rain coat with you too... there wont be too many shelters available if it starts to rain.

Many thanks, Peter for the tips. And a hat and sunblock as well :)

I hope to get good video quality in open air conditions. The lighting conditions at the Lexus booth during Motor Show 2006 was such that it was exceedingly difficult to manoeuver.

What? You can't be serious? The meteorological service actually said people should refrain from taking video in their official website? Can you give me the link?

Today it seemed that the usage of cameras was allowed. I noticed few times when officials told not to use the cameras.

And luckily it only rained 20 minutes. Not very heavily and they continued playing all the time.

Some photos can be found from my post:

I have taken photos at a few golf events. Usually the officials are quite "anal" when it comes to the big names. Maybe they are more afraid of the big names complaining. Must take from far away so that they wont bother you.

Will be going there early tomorrow.
