Just a personal story to share. Last June 1st, I had a major heart attack and was rushed to NUH. It was an emergency event and had to go through angioplasty and 2 stents immediately after my admission to A&E. And all these occurs within 2.5 hrs of my attack.
After the procedures, 3 medical counsellors interview me and mentioned that:
1. My cholesterol is just slightly high but nothing to be alarm about
2. No high blood pressure (actually have history of low blood)
3. No diabetes
After much investigations, they all tribute that it is a clear cut of "stress" induced and that I should learn to cope with it. My medical consultant actually me that stress me kill me, so solve any problems I may think of and do it immediately.
I also know another photographer in CS (no name mention) who told me that his sister of young age also died suddenly in her sleep and she was healthy. But she in fact lead a very stressful job.
Believe me guys... after the incident, I can actually identify that my heart does feel stressed whenever I have problems. After some time, one of the best way for me to cope any stress related problem is to tell myself... "f... care", life is more important...
Sorry guys, not to be dramatic:bsmilie: but to share with you what stress can do to you... and this is serious, its no longer an age disease!!! I was only 39 when I had my attack.
