those were taken at ISO100 thus the clean look.

Tks kewell and ExplorerZ for looking.
Yup the 3 was taken with low iso on my newly bought Slik Splint Pro GM.

the pics are really nice, seeing it makes me think whether wanna get Fuji F30 or lumix Fx01

does the fx01 take pics of moving objects clearly, like eg. animals etc?

if you want to take moving subject, it would be better to have high ISO noise control rather than OIS. so i recommand the fuji in this case. but if you are talking about zoo animal, both ain't good as their zoom aren't far

Fx01 for sure unless u need High Iso. FYI, F30 is 36mm lens and 3x zoom.
Fx01 is 28mm and 3.6x zoom.

I second ExplorerZ's view that for moving objects (at least in light light), F30 (now F31 w FD) is btr.
I do think F20 is the better value thou compared to F30.

ok hmm for a beginner, which would be a better choice in terms of minimal settings, ease of use etc and able to take beautiful pics easily in both outdoor and indoor like the above pics at bugis?

u mentioned F20 is better value than F30?

go for the fx01, you will learn to appreciate the 28mm especially for such shots. further more i think the fx01 have a slightly better metering than the fuji, this could simply mean lesser tuning to get correct exposure.

if you are getting fuji, f20 and f30 are almost the same except f20 doesn't have manual mode and some are not as useful features are a little crippled

ok thx for ur info, i guess fx01 is also good choice considering now the price is cheaper too

in normal mode???
