Hi,

I installed IE 7 and then uninstalled it after reading so much about the problems. However now my auto-reverted IE 6 does not work properly with Yahoo mail. Every time I try to attach a file (photo or document) there's an IE message saying "Invalid file type". Doesn't happen on my other computer in which IE 7 wasn't tried.

Any help on how to get rid of IE7 completely (or reinstall IE 6 afresh) appreciated.

Geoff

IE6 or 7 tend to stick too many tentacles around your system to remove safely. The best way I find to overcome the whole issue is to install and use Firefox instead.

On the other hand, if you really need your IE6, see if "Tools" / "Internet Options" / "Programs" / "Reset Web Settings" can help your situation. Then again, this being IE, it could cause you more grief. Good luck whichever way!

What problems are you facing ?

I am using Opera all the time, but sometimes, I do want to use IE. I am using IE7 and I cannot even load a page! I launch, and it hangs, and I just have to force close it.
