Flash drive woes

My Imation 512MB drive just crashed on me last minute before project submission.

It keeps on saying "please insert disk into drive F" :cry:

Now to computers my flash drive is now a 'disk drive'. How do I solve this problem?
Any help very much appreciated!

Your flash drive corrupted already.
Try to recover your files using some recovery programs.
If not, a format to the drive can make it useable again.

I can't format it.

Completely un readable. Can't format, can't defragmentate, can't cleanup.

Have you try using another computer to read it?
