Hi there...

There is a question I have been pondering about ..

Is there any adapter for Manual Focus MD lenses to be mounted onto auto focus nikon mounts(nikon mounts are FD mounts right?)???

Can anyone enlighten me on the places to get it? and maybe the price?? It would help.

Because I have some manual focus MD mount lenses lying around, and hope to use them on a D70 body.

Thank you very much for your time.

All Nikon lenses (other than the Pre AI ones) can still fit on the Nikon bodies.

But you will lose metering for the AI or AI-S lenses on the D70 body. The only bodies which can meter with those lenses are the D200 and the D2 pro body series.

thanks alot for your reply zac08.
I learnt something from tt.

Er... I dont think manual focus minolta MD lens are able to fit on Nikon SLRs rightZ?
Are there any adapters available or method??
I tried finding, but unable to find any.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you very much for your enlightenment.

Eh... nope.

Nikon does not make adaptors for other lens makers. Only closest one will be the Adaptall convertor for those with Adaptall mounts to fit into Nikon F mount. ;)
