Gaffer taping equipment

Does anyone have a picture of camera equipment that has been gaffer taped?

I'm just wondering how its done and what it looks like afterwards.

One of the purpose is to keep your gear prestine, new and almost virgin so that when you sell, it is like new and can fetch you $8 more than w/o gaffering.

beware of older lens though. gaffered one of the older lens and when removing the gaffer tape. all the wordings came off w the tape. in this case it will surely fetch less then if i have not gaffered it. i understand newer lens are ok

eh just curious, so dont kill me.... what if a buyer request for the gaffer to be removed?
will you remove it for that? then what if upon removal, you realize Surge is correct, and the prints on the lens/body came off??? wah nightmare...

Ya know, i'll gaffer the lens with camo gaffer, then tell the person its a nice gaffer, if he dun wan can remove... then when he remove, then got taiji... tell him to sue the gaffer company.. cos gaffer suppose to not leave residue, and the fine print did not say will leave or infact, not leave the wording behind... :bsmilie:
