3rd Party Battery Went Dead

I have a 3rd party DSLR battery which went dead during my weekend.

Luckily it did not "fried" my camera circuit board.

The battery is about a year old. Anyone has such experience?

I had same experience. For my case, I did not use it for months and when I tried charging it, it can be charged to full. However when I used it with the cam, immediately it went dead. I once heard from a friend 3rd party batteries have to be constantly used and cannot be left there to collect dust, else will die

Not the case for original battery. It happen on my 3rd party notebook Li-ION battery too. Twice :embrass: .
