How do you carry your tripod? and do u bring it everywhere you go?

Currently I carry it by hand or put it in the car. Probably not really the most convenient way cos I have to keep putting it down and picking it up whenever i wanna shoot without the tripod.

I don't bring it everywhere. Actually, i hardly bring it anywhere unless i know i'll need it just to avoid carrying it.

Use hand lor.

self improvised a sling..

i just treat the handle and the legs like a catch, and just slide in between my camera bag's belt.

actually before you do this. make sure that the tripod legs is covered by some protective rubber etc. if not you will get a lot of scratches on the legs. if not use some stickers to protect it.

Scratches are not going to make the tripod fall apart. Sticker make it dirty and sticky after a while. Dun bother to baby the tripod so much.

I have a sling bought from Eastgear at $10. Sling it when carrying it ard, hand carry when need to deploy often.
;)

I use a thin camera trap. One end making a tight loop around tripod head. The other end around central column.

I sling it around my left shoulder while keeping the right shoulder free for the model to lean on.

i attached a loop to my camera bag and slot in the tripod when i moves about

I usually just carry my tripod in my hand until I come to the spot to shoot and then put it to good use. rarely i put mine in the tripod bag.
Don't worry too much about your tripod cosmetics, I bumped my tripod into the wall once and thought I scratch the leg, only to realise that I instead left my impression on the wall!:bsmilie:
Just use them like a normal tool, cause anyway, it will show normal signs of usage in the end.

yeah. good. scratches add "character" to the tripod anyway. too bad if you want to sell it off.

By hand... no sling, no bag....

I prefer to be able to set up ASAP

Bring it on hand. Use it as a weapon too.

Regards,
Arto.
