Thx Bro Ivan, for organizing & your encouraging words :D

PS: Really need to sleep nw & wish you have a sweet dream too ;)

Hi Adolfus, just a couple of nitpicks...

- #1's gaussian blur seems a bit on the high side... appears too 'powdery' to me, if u know what I mean...

- #2 lacks a little contrast... don't feel the punch of the shot, which potentially could make a great shot...

Hope you don't mind my couple of cents

And nice meeting you... CHeers :)

think so too, you might wanna lessen the grussian.

why is the face has blotches on it?

1) Agree w/ the gaussian blur on #1 but personally like the dreamy & silky look loh ;)

2) Yup, thks for pointing out. Bit more contrast will really make the shot more striking

Nice meeting you too, never quite catch your name yesterday coz a bit stoned from fatigue but from your gears & shooting style, know we had a pro beside us

Actually learn a lot from your gallery in my early days of portrait shooting

Looking forward to your film scans !

Thk Liew, noted on the blur effect,
Shld masked the face & do a separate blurring for softening :)

Ermm... I was shooting in digital leh... U sure u got the right guy? I was in the Japanese soccer jersey :bsmilie:
Tssk, my mistake, remember you the one w/ the shoulder bag & capturing the model from low angles ?

No offense, hope I get it right tis time :embrass:
But really learn a lot browsing thru your gallery
Paiseh, not a regular @ organised shoot, a lot of CSers only know by their avantar

If you have to use D I to create effects, do better job of removing the blemishes on her face.

Thks tommon, too engrossed in creating the feel when DI
Never my intent to remove or cover blemishes on model 's face or I would have use spot healing

Saw the eyes in focus, silky flowing hair, work complete in 10 mins, never go pixel peep ;p
However point taken abt the blemishes :)

She looks like she's put on too much powder on the nose that there's a haze there...
No need for sarcastic words,
One man 's food is another man 's poison

PS: PSI level is below 100 on yesterday & today :bsmilie:

i find the hair in the first somewhat distracting

bufferin, thx for viewing

I would prefer both with more subtle enhancements rather than the obvious editting. Pretty good attempt otherwise. Post more lah! :)
Thx Splutter, saw ur series & really like the mono toning pic

Trying new DI methods & their acceptance level, although some negative feedbacks but will not dampen my spirit of experimenting
Thx again for your encouragement :D

Woa...I am zapped by her eyes... :love2:
