Hi guys .
Im gonna ord loh haha, i know this might seem unrelevant to most of you, but nontheless share my joy. I m gonna ord on 070207, thats about 3 mths from now!

I wanna maximise my time fully during the time period from my ord date to when i get to the Us, i want to spend time learing photography,and if possible earn some money, u know to buy buy buy and upgrade my gears.

Can anyone recommend to me what should i do, or maybe offer me some job to do hehe,i might just do it for free

You won't escape the cycle bro, unless you choose not to come back. You're still liable for reservists training.

Be warned that if you come back, just be prepared for the tough training, if you're in infantry i.e., cos I have a few friends who came back from overseas after many years and they're finding it tough to catch up with the younger ones who just ORDed.

I was lucky enough to find a part time job working for an events company. Those tend to pay well but the work is tough. Also can be irrigular as they dont get events all the time..

Anyway, I'm looking forward to my next ICT, where I will take a short break from work and catch up with my men. Its a bonding thing that probably you missed it. Perhaps you did not have a meaningful NSF time. Perhaps you are just another S.A.F young chap.

All the best to your new life. Do take note if you are ever planning to return and using Changi. Do not get caught off guard and get "invited" to some room at the airport bcos you failed to update Mindef on your whereabouts. Last ICT, last known, got 3 battalion mates got charged for AWOL and went DB for a few days.

Everyday cho bo lan, slack, move-eat-talk-work-**** all in slow motion, no stress. Holiday camp for 2.5yrs.
