I just bought this lens three days ago, very sharp and value for money :thumbsup: :thumbsup: . Many shops in SG has run out of stock, maybe you can try K-13 at Peninsula Plaza if you intend to buy.

Do not buy now if the stock is low in Sin as those shops tend to mark up the price, even CP!

I was quoted $180 for a Canon 50mm f1.8 which cost only about $130 few years back.

No doubt, this lens is great, its brother T180 is even greater. haha

it's the f4 that i have, f2.8 quite big for nature shooting... (actually, not enough vit M for any f2.8 this range:bsmilie: )
when my macro (or, rather insect) itchiness suddenly back, need to live with the 300....
(500D inside my wishlist, though not at the top ) so, have to borrow from shooting kaki if there is a need....:embrass:

you still do macro thingy? saw some post on your macro stuff on B&S last time...
from a macro enthusiast like you.... upgrade or stop?.... hope not the latter...:sweat:

Am loving it.

Never regret, i brought this lens for a year plus. Sharpness is really awesome. I even use it to shoot portrait. Guess i dun need to get 85mm for the time being.
