Yeah.. on lenses but not so sure abt the camera body. The prices there is approx the price you can get for a grey set in Singapore.
 

Oooh ... ... hmm... i wonde issit safe after buying a prosumer... i carry the BIG BIG plastic bag walk back to Singapore ?? hahaha ... just curious ... coz i'm from KL and din go through JB most of the time ...
 

do u have the pricelist now ?? haha .. just curious ... i'm planning to have a prosumer ... Canon S3IS ... or Panasonic FZ7 ... or Sony H5 ... ... by the way which one do u recommend??

Interest free purchases? Is this tied to certain credit cards? If so does the interest free purchase option apply to Singapore issued Credit card as well?
 

hmmm just wondering do we need to pay tax say..at the customs, since the goods are from JB?

Just open up the boxes and claim that you brought it to malaysia to use lar..
 

I think no need to open box leh. Since electronic goods are tax free and no gst when brought back to Singapore right?

Where is Citysqauare by the way? Walking distance from Causeway?

Yup. Walking distance. Just walk thru the underpass once you exit from the JB custom checkpoint.

Walk straight out from the underpass and then walk 100m, you will see Mobil petrol kiosk.

After that, walk pass a building with lots of shop selling bus ticket to alot places in Msia. Continue walking till u see a overhead bridge on top of your head. Then look infront, you will see City Square.

To make sure you are at right place, after you walked pass the building and see the overhead bridge, look right to see a railway station.

If not, just ask around.

Remember, you don't need to TAXI. No need k.... :bsmilie:

Errr you may want to avoid the backlanes of that area.
