Desktop Requirements for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5

Hi Guys,

Sorry that I have to start a new thread on this cos Technology is ever improving..
I'm going to embark a learning phase for Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5

Would like to know if any kind souls here can recommend a Desktop Hardware Requirements?
I'm looking at $1.5K w/o monitor.

Also I've actually saw a whole list of GUP Graphics Card at Adobe's website
Do I really need to get something like that?(the card itself its pretty expensive -_-)

Any sincere help & recommendations is appreciated!

It tells you how to enable other graphic cards for Premiere's Mercury Engine, other then those specified by adobe.

I think 1.5k for a editing rig, should be pretty alright I guess.
