720/50p on fCE

I shot footage from a panasonic hmc 152 at 720/50p and when I transferred it, FCE crashed. Any Advice?

I have been shooting at 1080/50i and had no issues transferring to FCE before.

You can either upgrade to FCP7 or use this app to convert to 720/25p Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac – camcorder software for Mac helps convert AVCHD to Apple ProRes & AIC, Join/Split AVCHD without re-encoding
