Re: Streets at Night
Wow.. reminescent of Moriyama-San.. I love the punchy and bold shots. Personally, I would've done a tighter crop. Less empty space. But I can see where you're coming from. Nice..

Re: Streets at Night
Hi Eddie,
Thanks for sharing your views. I try to avoid cropping as much as possible, I can't offer any proper reason for doing so other than it makes me feel I'm cutting off the "feeling" that I tried to capture. I do cloning, dodging, but somehow I've never felt comfortable with cropping... But I'll be considering your personal views when I'm done with my latest roll.
Again, thanks for dropping by and I really appreciate the complement.
Kind Regards,
Day

Hi,
Sharing another shot from my folder...
I hear "What if God was one of us..." whenever I look at this photograph...

"Just trying to make his way home..."
Thanks for looking...

Really appreciate the complement bro.
Although, I find it hard to imagine batman walking around with a camera. Ha ha!
Thank you for taking the time to comment...

Hi hydroburn,
Yes, I was the guy who posted on dpreview and I remember you...
Thanks for taking the time to comment here.
The shots were taken handheld, mostly at 1/30 sec, f2.5.
Really appreciate the kind words.

Re: Streets at Night
the concept of the series presents opportunities for some very interesting/dramatic shots. I sense the emptiness/void in your pictures...it's nice..look to push your photography. it's the 7th month now..maybe look for some subjects? just my 2 cents. keep shooting. ^_^

I went to your blog. I like the gate one. It has its unique style which quite hard to describe in words.
