:: Brisbane Street Photography with Fuji X-Pro1 ::
Just came back from a working trip to Brisbane. In my free time, I managed to get around with X-Pro1. Personally, I think its a really good cam. Lightweight (a big plus for travelling) and produces good images. With a little post-processing (all pics are pped), its hard to differentiate the pics from that of a full-frame DSLR (D700/Canon 5DMkII).
Pic 1 :: boys in train :: This was taken on my way to airport (last day). The boys saw the camera and loved it. Kept saying its a sick camera, old school.

Pic 2 :: seagulls attack ::

Pic 3 :: man with moustache ::

Pic 4 :: in a dance :: Shot in a low light situation without flash, iso1600. Noise are quite visible but it didn't bothers me. Sometimes I'll add noise to my pics to make it more film-like.

Pic 5 :: pose up :: Really like this, the moment I saw them standing beside the poster, I just knew it makes a good photo.

Thanks for viewing, will post more.

In this trip, had many opportunities to take pictures of children. In some occasions I would ask the parents' permission, most times they wouldn't mind you taking pics. I would show the pics of their kids. Other times, the moments just came and gone, would just snap unobtrusively.

Re: :: Brisbane Street Photography with Fuji X-Pro1 ::
The next 5 photos will featured some of my favourites during the trip. All pictures you seen in this thread are post-processed even for the b&w. Even though X-Pro1 has a pretty decent B&W function, I always shoot with colors and convert later.
Pic 21 :: Backstage Preparation :: Again this pic is taken in a low light situation. Making use of any available light (concert) and setting iso1600 (no flash). Possibly my fav pic in the entire trip.

Pic 22 :: Footballer on show :: Yes, AF might be slower than most DSLR but it can sitll take some motion pics and with very pleasing results.

Pic 23 :: seeya later :: Caught a Australian band, Pear and the Awkward Orchestra, performing live.

Pic 24 :: owl man ::

Pic 25 :: The book keeper :: Another pic of the "book keeper" on a separate day. Its beginning to look like I was stalking.. no, was on same spot the second day (morning this time) and really like the deco she set up for the shop so thought I took another pic.

Hi polar, the 2 shots you picked up are incidentally the most click pics for this series in my flickr acct. Both were taken in the same event and I felt very fortunate to capture them. I liked them both too. Thanks for the compliment.
