It is standard CCTV lens + C-to-NEX adapter. The lens format is 2/3".

I find my lens has vignette also when the lighting is not strong. Besides that, my lens has 2 different characteristic. When shoot near subject, it has milky bokeh. When shoot far subject (focus far to infinite), it has miniature effect, quite interesting toy.
I added more photos here, the coverage already from indoor to outdoor, from day to night.

Re: Nex 5 lens alternative
any recommendations for a better lens alternative to replace the nex 16mm (since it meant for landscape shot n not really for people shots)?

I would recommend voigtlander with the leica m adapters . You can get 35m 1.4, 40mm 1.4, at affordable prices.
Checkmout chiif site for pricing
If you can wait for the rumored nex firmware patch that Will enable autofocus on alpha lenses with ssm/Sam , you will have Carl zeiss 24mmf2 , Sony 35mm 1.8 and 85mm f2.8 to use

Re: Nex 5 lens alternative
just wondering.. when you select manual focus on the nex with these manual cctv lens, does the camera automatically zoom-in to aid focusing on the lcd?

Not for my CCTV lens. There is no electronic contact from CCTV to camera body, so body doesn't recognize the lens and don't know it is zooming.
When I need x14 magnify, I press the MF assist manually.
