Limited sets? Care to share d price? I think Airport prices r super attractive as compared to street prices in SG...

May I ask why you think the Nex 5N needs an update (assuming you mean Firmware, here) ...if you are talking about "replacement" then you can rest assured it will be next year.

Bro i think what he meant was if there's coming new model or replacement to Nex5n :-).... I still cant afford Nex5n even those in BnS (dammit when this cam price will drop??)

Sorry! My bad for being so vague. Yearp. what i meant was new model replacing NEX 5N? I am not referring to the firmware (since i have never even used it before.. =P) ..

Am thinking of getting it unless the new model is coming out like within this 2 months..

I think people need to see the f3 before saying stuff like the f3 is better speced than the 5n based on hardware upgrades cuz its really subjective...It depends on what u need... other than hardware like the flip up screen for self portrait and convenience of pop up flash,personally, i dont see how it is better spec-ed than the 5n in terms of performance ... From Webspecs, difference in codec used for videos avchd vs avchd 2.0 on the 5n.. in terms of Iso, the 5n goes up all the way to 25600 while the f3 stands at 16000 ( not that u really need to go up that high anyway)...Fps wise, 2.5/5.5 vs the 10fps on the 5n, touch screen on the 5n vs non touch screen...IR remote interface on the 5n and no IR remote receiver on the F3, something u might wanna think about.. real minor details ,magnesium alloy body work on the 5n vs the all plastic on the f3...the list goes on..see the f3 as an update on the c3 not something that surpasses the 5n...the 5n aint that much more expensive... At the end of the day , not everything is about specs, its about how it suits the needs of a user... Like if u love to do self portraits, u will want the flip up screen but that sacrifices overhead shooting convenience cuz it does not flip downwards like it used to on the 5n and 7... for that little bit more i'll take the 5n anyday over the f3...If you really want to have that 180 degree screen and the pop up flash, go get the f3.. i suggest you go try both yourself at a shop and see what feels right in your hands...there will always be an update to every single model after a while...be it the 5n or 7, its just sooner or later...just get something that u will enjoy using...

haha, you can still hold the camera upside down to compose overhead shots w the 180deg LCD, but at the expense of looking really silly

i tried both the cameras. ended up with 5n still. Didn't quite like the grip on F3 as well as the body.. It really depends on personal preference. Altho i really like the 180 deg LCD..

No worries, new model replacing 5N would be the F5 ...should be available next year ...you now need to ask yourself how many photo opportunity you would have missed til the F5 arrives.

I think my Samsung MV800 still has one up on the F3, it has a second shutter button on the back of the camera for when you flip up the 180 LCD screen, much easier to cam-whore.
